A Different Perspective on Football
Working with a national football association differs considerably from representing a player or advising an individual club.
Associations must consider:
- National teams
- Development
- Sponsors
- International relationships
- Governance
- Football identity
- Grassroots participation
- Government and public stakeholders
The role therefore broadened Majid's understanding of football administration and international football relationships.
Relevance Today
International club partnerships increasingly require relationships with governing organisations as well as individual clubs.
Experience around a national football association gives Majid another perspective when considering international football projects today.
